Victims Who Must Not Be Forgotten. Pilsen Commemorates the Devastating April Air Raids

Pilsen marked the 81st anniversary of the devastating Allied air raids of April 1945 with memorial services at monuments in Doubravka and Slovany. During the attacks, which destroyed the marshalling yard and struck civilian areas, over 600 people were killed, with another 200 or so perishing a week later. City council members Světlana Budková and Jiří Šrámek attended the memorial ceremonies on behalf of the city.
