Today, American veteran Franklin Simon, a member of the 26th Infantry Division, turns 102

Today, American veteran Franklin Simon, a member of the 26th Infantry Division, is celebrating his 102nd birthday.

Frank took part in the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944, participated in the liberation of southwestern Bohemia, and advanced as far as Prachatice. In 2017, he attended the Liberation Festival Pilsen.
