A battle display from the end of World War II

As part of the accompanying program of the Liberation Festival, a special event will take place on Saturday, May 2nd for all fans of military history. The meadow "u sv. Jiří" in Doubravka will go back in time for one afternoon and offer visitors the authentic atmosphere of the last days of World War II. The program for the public is prepared from 12:00 to 14:00 and promises a powerful experience for adults and families with children. The main attraction will be a dynamic combat demonstration, which will start at exactly 13:00. Spectators can look forward to an event inspired by real historical events, which will be full of soldiers in period uniforms and roaring equipment. In addition to the battle itself, those interested will have the opportunity to take a close look at an exhibition of more than 20 pieces of historical machinery and period equipment. On display will be such gems as the American M8 Greyhound armored car, the Halftrack M3 half-track transporter, or the German SdKfz 251 and SdKfz 222 vehicles.

Admission to the entire event is free for the general public. For visitors arriving by car, there is a parking option directly at the location near sv. Jiří or in a reserved parking area near the SK Senco Doubravka area.
