Recording the podcast Nový svět and Bruselský diktát

Pilsen does not forget who brought it freedom. The Western allies who liberated it in May 1945 are now going through the most difficult test of their relations since the end of the Cold War. The United States, under the leadership of Donald Trump, is changing its view of Europe, and Europe is looking for its own path. Live performances by two of the most watched Czech podcasts on world politics — Nový svět and Bruselský diktát — will open this year’s Freedom Festival with a debate on what remains of the transatlantic alliance, what is changing, and what it means for us. From the historical legacy of 1945, we will move to the harsh reality of today’s geopolitics — from Trump’s America to the war in Ukraine to the future of European defense.
