Museum in Hangar 3 at Pilsen–Líně Airport

The main attraction will be the newly opened exhibition dedicated to the 5th Airborne Division and the premiere of two aircraft in Hangar 3 – the T-28 Trojan and the Auster Mk.I. The museum will also display almost completely preserved artifacts from the B-17 Flying Fortress aircraft that were shot down on April 25, 1945 over Pilsen. The exhibition will also include an exhibition dedicated to Pilsen pilots who served in the British RAF. In addition, an exhibition of historic USAAF Jeeps will be on display in front of the hangar. During the day, visitors will be able to see a number of historic aircraft, including the P-51D Mustang “Little Rebel” (USAAF), Stinson AT 19A Reliant MK III (Royal Navy), Boeing B75N1 Stearman (RCAF), Harvard Mk.IIA (RAF), Auster AOP 6 (RAF), Auster Mk.I (RAF), Morane Saulnier MS 893A (Armée de l’Air), Pilatus P2-05, Fairchild F 24, Zlín Z 526, Sokol M1D and MiG-21 PF. For families with children, there is a creative workshop, an aviation quiz and a small thematic surprise prepared for them by the girls from the airport.

The museum will be open from 11 am to 4 pm. Admission is 100 CZK for individuals and 200 CZK for families with children. Arrival and departure of visitors will be allowed only through the Červený Újezd ​​gate and along marked roads. Free movement around the airport area is not allowed. Military police will be present, so it is necessary to respect all instructions from the organizers. Failure to do so may result in expulsion from the airport area.
