Liberation Festival 2027 will take place on May 4-9

From May 4 to 9, 2027, Pilsen will once again be the venue for the Liberation Festival, a festival that is one of the most important European commemorations of the end of World War II. The first three days of the program will be dedicated primarily to commemorative acts and the commemoration of the liberation of the city by the American army. The highlight of this part of the festivities will be the main memorial act at the Thank You, America monument on Thursday, May 6.

From Friday, May 7, the program will take place in a festive and festival atmosphere. The city center will be filled with historic military camps, and visitors can look forward to a varied cultural program, demonstrations of military history and the popular Convoy of Liberty. The weekend will offer a unique combination of remembrance of the events of 1945 with a live presentation of history and a number of activities for all generations.
