The Polar Opposites

The recent winners of the amateur band competition Múza The Polar Opposites from Mariánské Lázně are a three-member indie-rock band made up of long-time friends Tobias Maximilián Blažeňák (vocals, guitar), Petr Jakub Kuba (bass) and Adam Tomi (drums). The band was formed from a friendship dating back to childhood and began to take shape during the first wave of Covid, when they began intensively writing their own music. Since then, they have played dozens of concerts in Western Bohemia and shared the stage with bands such as Wohnout or Voxel. In recent years, they have also performed abroad and completed two European tours with German musician Georg Kallenbach. At the concert on the Libé Rty stage, they will also present musical news from their upcoming debut EP.
