The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Luxembourg and the city of Pilsen commemorated the 140th anniversary of the birth of general Patton

On the 140th anniversary of General Patton's birth, Barbara Karpetová, Czech Ambassador to Luxembourg, laid flowers on his grave at the American military cemetery in Hamm on behalf of the Embassy of the Czech Republic and the city of Pilsen.

Pilsen commemorated the anniversary of the birth of the famous General Patton by laying flowers at the memorial in sady Pětatřicátníků, with the representatives of the Klub 3. Armády Plzeň. (The Club of the 3rd Army Pilsen).

In Dýšina,  the General Patton´s Basic school and Kindergarden Dýšina dedicated to its honorary citizen a special project, including a specially rehearsed song and a handmade flower. In addition to the mayor, the director of the elementary school and kindergarden, teachers, and children, representatives of the Liberation Festiavil Pilsen, Patton Memorial Pilsen, and the Military Car Club Plzeň also took part in the commemoration at the Dysina General Patton´s statue.
