Lincoln Harlan Harner celebrates hist 101st Birthday!

Today marks the 101st birthday of Lincoln Harner, hero, veteran, liberator of the city of Pilsen and southwestern Bohemia, member of the 16th Armored Division and 987th Field Artillery Battalion (with which he landed on Gold Beach on June 6, 1944).

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Pilsen and southwestern Bohemia, the book Allies by Tereza Marianová was published last year, in which one story is based on the account of Lincoln Harner.

On June 12, he received the Meritorious Cross of the Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in the United States.
