HE Miloslav Stašek, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the USA, presented the Cross of Merit of the Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic to the American veteran Harlan Lincoln Harner

On 12 June, the Czech Armed Forces Day was held at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in the United States of America.

During the reception, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the USA, HE Miloslav Stašek, presented the Cross of Merit of the Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic to the American veteran Harlan Lincoln Harner.

Linc Harner celebrated his 100th birthday in January, is a liberator of the city of Pilsen and southwestern Bohemia, a member of the 16th Armored Division and the 987th Field Artillery Battalion (with which he landed on Gold Beach on June 6, 1944).
