A new exhibition about American Army Indian Division
INDIANHEAD: Men with Indian Emblems, a new exhibition dedicated to one of the most famous American units of World War II, whose members wore the Indian head emblem on their shoulders, has been prepared by the Tommy & Yankee military history club in the Pilsen Town Hall Mázhaus. It will guide visitors through the captivating story of soldiers who left training camps in the USA and traveled through Normandy, the Ardennes and Germany to Western Bohemia. The exhibition was created as part of the PLZEŇ 1945 project during the 2025 Freedom Celebrations and is also part of the international Men of the 2nd Infantry Division project. The authors are Ing. Tomáš Hataj, Mgr. Daniel Malý, PhDr. Viktor Šimek and Petr Tolar. The exhibition will be on display until May 23, 2025.
