It is with great sadness we learned the passing of WWII veteran, hero, liberator of the City of Pilsen and member of the 16th Armored Divison, Robert Muthersbaugh.

Robert Muthersbaugh was 23 years old at the end of the war. He was the chief radio operator in the 18th AIB, HQ Bn. entering Pilsen in one of the first military vehicles as part of General George Patton’s 3rd Army. During the war, he was awarded the “Bronze Star Medal”.

Lest we forget!
