Happy heavenly 98th birthday to Arthur Otto, WWII veteran, member of the 17e batallion fusiliers belges, who participated in the liberation of Pilsen and southwestern Bohemia. Arthur passed away on May 9th 2018. Lest we forget!

Štandera was born on 5 October 1918. In 1936, he enlisted in the Czechoslovak Air Force and became an air force pilot after completing aviation school. He fled from Czechoslovakia to France in 1939 following the German invasion and occupation of the country. It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of the liberator of Pilsen and Southwestern Bohemia, the member of the famous 16th Armored Division, Robert Chiarizia who would turn 100 this year. SIR, we will never forget!!!
